Today I thought i would take a few pictures of the painting area by area, if anyone is curious about the process of which i paint.
I start with a line sketch of watered down paint, I normally start with browns either raw umber and white or yellow ocher
I then started with the bricks because i wanted a verity of reds browns and yellows and i didn't want them mixed with green or anything which normally happens as i go.
Here the back ground is basically done.
Here is a close up of the mans face, as you can tell it doesn't have much detail but the shapes are implied
Finished product... woo
